SATOP®8830 self adhered Thermal conductivity fire-proof silicone gel is a two-component addition type potting compound, it has good liquidity after mixing. operation time can be adjusted according to the temperature, can be deeply solidified in the room temperature. Suitable for all kinds of heat dissipation and temperature resistant components, it is in accordance with EU ROHS directive and SVHC REACH. Characteristic of silicone gel:

  4. Excellent high temperature electrical insulation and stability.
  5. Good waterproof and moisture-proof.

Storage and transportation

  • 1 Part A and part B need to avoid light, heat, save after sealed. (Can be used as the non-dangerous goods transport and storage)
  • Shelf life : 1 years (25℃)
  • For a long period of time, there will be precipitation, which can be used after stirring. This phenomenon is not a quality problem.
  • Application of silicone gel:
    1. Automotive electronics, modules.
    2. LED power driver module.
    3. Solar module junction box.
    4. Electric vehicle charging column module.
    5. Lithium battery and capacitor bank.
    6. Magnetic induction coil
    7. Inverter power supply

How to use:

  • The glue will cause precipitation if placed too long, mix part A and part B in each package before construction.
  • Weigh part A and part B by 1:1, mix well, direct injection into components (or modules). It is best to gently inject into the side of the wall to reduce the bubble formation.
  • Put the encapsulated element in place for some time. After the bubble disappears, it can be heated and solidified, or solidified directly at room temperature, which requires about 4hr.

Attention of operation

  • It can be improve hardening performance if remove the bubblesafter mixing part A and part B.
  • Seal preservation after taking part A and part B
  • can lead to slow curing speed under the too low temperature and recommended workshop temperature.
  • SATOP®8830 is difficult to harden and contact with materials such as sulfur, amine, organic tin and unsaturated hydrocarbon plasticizer. Common substances have rosin, natural rubber, before use must be tested.
