Characteristic of silicone encapsulant

SATOP®8132 Condensation type silicone encapsulant is a two-component condensation type room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. Fast curing at room temperature, Ethanol small molecule release, no corrosion of the material. Use it with two-component dispensing machine. After curing, it forms a Soft elastomer, with excellent resistance to cold and heat alternating, anti-aging and electrical insulation, good moisture resistance, shock resistance, corona resistance and anti-leakage performance. his product does not need to use other primers, can adhere to most materials such as metal, plastic, ceramics and glass, adhesion special materials. PP, PE need to be matched with a specific primer, can also be flame or plasma on the surface of the material to be adhered Treatment improves adhesion.

Use 

  • 1) When it needs to be attached to the application material, please confirm whether the adhesion can meet the requirements before applying.
  • surface cleaning. Use alcohol or acetone and other solvents for removing grease and dust removal before use.
  • When using, the volume ratio of A and B components is 2:1. The fluctuation range can be between 10:4 and 10:6, and the mixing must be sufficient.
  • The higher the temperature, the shorter the surface drying and curing time, For the dispenser operation, pause time is as short as possible to prevent the glue from clogging the glue line.
  • The curing time setting of the two-componentdispensing machine must be within 5mins; Please do not remove the mixing tube when the interval is longer, and the new mixing tube should be removed and installed before the next use, which can effectively avoid the phenomenon of solidification of B component.
  • long exposure to the air will cause the effective component to fail,Seal the opened packages A and B to avoid affecting the performance of the adhesive.

 

Precautions

  • 1) keep away from children.
  • 2) if contact with skin, wipe with cloth before curing, and wash with clean water.
  • 3) if contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water.
  • It is recommended to be used in good ventilation.

 

Storage

Part A 8-35 ℃ in A cool and dry place for storage, storage period is 12 months.

Part B stored in 8-28 ℃ in a cool and dry place, storage period is 6 months.
